iLabs – Recap of the Day, and …..Fred

June 16, 2012

Just a little summary of our Stormfest Day. We had over 300 happy visitors come to see our corner of the NRC and we had a great time.  Rotifers on the microscope were a big hit, and I had a great time meeting people and just talking about our coming classes for the public on Saturday  mornings in the fall (another post coming soon).

Suffice to say, PLEASE watch our blog and the naturalsciences.org website in general, because that’s where you’ll hear about our coming classes first.

Our DNA extraction activity test runs were a wild success  in pinpointing any problems so we can hurry up and get this out to all of you. Stay tuned for a debut announcement when that happens.

Speaking of debut – meet Fred. Another conversation to come on him. 🙂

Happy weekend!!!

So….who is Fred and why should we care?
