Last Night Celebration
On our final night at Ceiba Tops each of our groups presented a short skit or summary of the adventure. Posted below you will find some of the creative ideas that were shared.
From the Educators group — sung to the tune of the “Gilligan’s Island Theme song”
Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale
A tale of an awesome trip,
That started on the Eastern Coast
And traveled South real quick.
Traveled south real quick.
The guides were mighty jungle men,
Always brave and sure.
18 folks in an Amazon boat
For a 9 day tour.
For a 9 day tour.
We walked through the woods all soaked in sweat
And danced around the ants.
Survived the bats living under our beds
And chiggers in our pants.
And chiggers in our pants.
We counted leaves ‘til we were blind
With Meg
And Dr. Phil.
Climbed to the top of the canopy
And took our malaria pills.
And took our malaria pills.
We’ll never forget the times we’ve shared
And all the friends we’ve found.
Ricardo, Meg, and Roldan,
Community leaders, teachers too.
The professor, Liz, and Mary Ann,
Down in the Amazon.

It’s dark and wet and eerie
Even in the rooms
